Electronic signature
We achieved beginning of 2020 our first electronic signature, marking an acceleration of our digital transformation and a first step towards the signature of a qualified level. This enables us to accelerate the dematerialization of contractual relationships with our counterparties: service providers, partners, and of course our clients.
The deployment of this solution, which became a priority during the Covid-19 context, was performed thanks to our digital transformation teams, teleworking at the time of production, who demonstrated remarkable agility and made it possible to meet a real operational and critical need. We used a Cloud-based solution allowing us to access to the partner's environment and its platform, in order to sign qualified e-signatures, the legal equivalent of a handwritten signature.
The advantages of this tool:
- Data security: this solution ensures that electronic signatures are legally binding and secure, meeting the most stringent regulatory requirements;
- Time to market: time saving is considerable compared to sending and returning a regular mail; the signing process is accelerated;
- CSR: more environmentally friendly, all transfers are done by digital mail, no more paper is needed.
Last but not least, during the Covid-19 lockdown period, the electronic signature ensured full business continuity while 97% of employees were teleworking.
