Laurent Baetz

Laurent Baetz is Chief Financial Officer of Societe Generale Luxembourg, effective September, 1^st, 2025.

Laurent joined Societe Generale in 1996 after a first experience within Deloitte. After having worked from 1996 to 2004 in the Group Accounting Department, Laurent joined the Finance Department for Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking, where he held various positions in accounting supervision, regulatory reporting and project management. In 2011, he is appointed deputy Head of the accounting department for SG CIB. In 2014, he became Deputy Head of the Finance department for the Global Finance and Coverage divisions. In 2017, Laurent became global Chief Finance Officer for Global Banking & Advisory Business Unit.

He holds a MBA from EDHEC, a Master degree in Law and Tax from University of Paris Pantheon Assas and a Master degree in International Affairs from University Paris Dauphine.
