SGSS named 'Securities Services Provider, Europe' at Financial-i Awards

Société Générale Securities Services (SGSS) has won the title of 'Securities Services Provider, Europe' at Financial-i* magazine's Leaders of Innovation Awards.

This award recognizes SGSS' innovative projects over the last year to develop its global network, reinforce its integrated product offerings and optimise operational efficiency. These projects include:

• The recent migration of SGSS' Italian fund administration system onto SGSS' global fund administration platform, Alfas. SGSS has pursued the development of unique and integrated pan-European IT platforms for custody, fund administration and fund distribution services,
• The launch of the SGSS office in Hong Kong in order to support SGSS' asset management clients in their distribution strategies and meet their requirements,
• SGSS's extension of its securities services capabilities into new markets, including Russia, Central and Eastern Europe and North Africa, as well as in India, through its joint venture with State Bank of India..

In selecting SGSS as the winner, the judges, composed of industry analysts and thought leaders, have recognised the company's ability to put innovation at the service of its clients.
