SGSS has won its 1st French client for its CrossWise offer launched in April

21/06/2018

UBS La Maison de Gestion, a subsidiary of UBS in France, has chosen, for its collective management, the entire CrossWise offer launched by Societe Generale Securities Services (SGSS) on 24 April, 2018.

UBS La Maison de Gestion has entrusted SGSS with all the modules offered by CrossWise in order to benefit from the reliable and efficient management of investment operations across the entire operational value chain covering all asset classes.

“CrossWise is a single turnkey solution that incorporates proven trading and front, middle and back-office management services in an integrated manner”, explains Marc Lévy, UBS La Maison de Gestion’s Chairman. “This enables us to focus on our main sources of added value that are management and development”.

Upstream, SGSS undertook the migration of 51 funds on this new platform, with daily and weekly valuations, invested in a broad spectrum of financial instruments (shares, bonds, ETD, ETF, UCITS*, Forex), whilst respecting UBS La Maison de Gestion’s external multi custodian bank model. Other instruments (such as CDS) will be incorporated within the solution in the future.

With its modular architecture, CrossWise allows asset managers to outsource as many services as required in order to focus their efforts on their core business: CrossWise incorporates all of SGSS’ front-to-back proficiency and all its expertise in the field of trading and securities services, enabling its clients to optimise their operating model and meet all regulatory requirements, notably audit trails and best execution.

* ETD: Exchange-Traded Derivatives
ETF: Exchange-Traded Funds,
UCITS: Undertakings for Collective Investment in Transferable Securities
CDS: Credit Default Swap
