BERTRAND KAUFFMANN HAS BEEN APPOINTED DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION OFFICER OF SOCIETE GENERALE LUXEMBOURG
Societe Generale Luxembourg appoints Bertrand Kauffmann as Digital Transformation Officer (DTO).
Based in Luxembourg, Bertrand Kauffmann reports to Arnaud Jacquemin, Chief Executive Officer of Societe Generale Bank & Trust and Country Manager for the Societe Generale Group in Luxembourg.
Bertrand Kauffmann will carry out this new mission in addition to his current role as Global Head of Market Solutions.
As part of his new position, Bertrand Kauffmann will be in charge of accelerating the digital transformation of the bank’s business lines and facilitating #LEPLATEAULUX, Societe Generale’s innovation laboratory in Luxembourg created a year ago.
This appointment is effective at October 1, 2019.
Bertrand Kauffmann is Global Head of Market Solutions within private banking activities of Societe Generale Luxembourg, and, since October 1, 2019, Digital Transformation Officer.
Bertrand Kauffmann joined Societe Generale in 1992 within SOGENAL Luxembourg (Société Générale Alsacienne de Banque). In 1997, he was in charge of managing the treasury team of SOGENAL Luxembourg and Societe Generale Luxembourg. He took the global supervision of treasuries and Foreign Exchange operations in 2010 for Societe Generale Private Banking. Since 2013, he is Global Head of Market Solutions, providing our clients with effective access to a wide range of products and services in financial markets. In 2016, he joined the Executive Committee.
Bertrand Kauffmann graduated from Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Paris (ESCP).
